Pastor James C. Clark, Sr.
Pastor Clark was born in New York. His formative education matriculated through the catholic school system. He then graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in May 2004 with honors of Cum Laude, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.
Although being educated in the Catholic school system, Pastor Clark’s Christian upbringing began in the Saints of Jesus Christ Church. It was at that church that he spoke on his first ministry platform service at the age of 14. He later went on to start the New Generation Youth Ministry (formally Youth on the Move) at 16 years old in 1998. From birth it was prophesied that Pastor Clark had a calling on his life. He graciously served the late Apostle C. H. Page and received great impartation from him until his death.
He was consecrated Deacon in 2003. Shortly thereafter, he accepted the title of minister in March of 2005 and was licensed in 2006. On September 10, 2010 Minister Clark was ordained Elder.
Even after accepting his call, Pastor Clark struggled with the opinions of others. Being that God’s hand was on him at an early age, he often had to battle the pressures of his youth and the occasional desire to be “normal”. However, after making some tough choices and sincerely developing his relationship with God, he realized that he is not called to fit in with the crowd but to be a radical mouthpiece for God.
Today, Pastor Clark is more confident than ever that his purpose in life is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. His ministry passion is driven by the confidence that God is walking with him through every step of his life.
Again, on September 10, 2014, God again elected Pastor Clark to plant a new church in Bronx, NY and thus Hope Christian Fellowship Center was born. The manta of the ministry “is a place where broken people are made whole”. The ministry is growing and seeing lives changed on a weekly basis.
Recently, on March 19, 2016 Pastor Clark was officially installed into the office of Pastor by Apostle Joel Rudolph of Unity of the Spirit Interdenominational Fellowship.
In addition to his secular education, Pastor Clark attended Manhattan Bible Institute 2006 – 2009 and is currently enrolled in Alliance Theological Seminary pursuing a Masters of Divinity.
Pastor Clark is a savvy business owner and is also a Realtor servicing both New York and New Jersey.
He is married to his wife Lady Shawanda and together they have 3 children.
